Our family recently had the privilege of working with Rose Building Group for a kitchen/bathroom/laundry renovation and couldn’t be more satisfied with both the process and the final product. The RGB team and their trade specialists are exceptionally talented at their crafts and very conscientious. Other than a few things that were delayed beyond their control, this renovation was completed in a very timely manner and is absolutely beautiful. They made our vision come to fruition and we hope to use them again when we are ready to renovate our main bathroom. They made the process of doing a major renovation relatively low stress and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to do a major renovation.

It is a pleasure to offer a review of the Rose Building Group and Matthew Rose upon the completion of our whole home renovation in the fall of 2020. Despite many challenging circumstances that were not of his making Matthew remained focused, solution oriented and delivered a superior result on time. Matthew and his team at Rose Building Group have completed 2 projects for us. A couple of years ago we completed a main floor renovation, which included a complete kitchen reno. Just recently we completed a master bathroom renovation. The work for both projects was impeccable. Really high quality workmanship, and incredible attention to detail.

The quality of the work is truly second to none. What impresses me the most about this company, however, is the people. They are all kind, warm, genuine, and professional. I enjoyed having them in my home, and was very comfortable. It is clear that they are committed to delivering a very high level of customer service and satisfaction through both the work they do, and they way they engage with the client. It's really impressive.

We recently completed our home renovation with Rose Building Group, which included a full renovation of both the interior and exterior of our house. We feel that we could not have picked a better company to do this extensive project. When Matt first came to our house to give us a quote we could tell instantly the professionalism and attention to detail he has when looking at a project. Throughout the entire renovation, Matt was easy to get in touch with, either by phone or email, which made it less daunting on my Wife and I whenever we had questions or wanted to add something. They were very respectful when speaking to us, and with taking care of our property by cleaning up the interior and exterior before going home every night. Matthew and his team were amazing to work with. They recently completed a full basement renovation for my personal home. I work for Baudit Interior design and have worked with several contractors and was very impressed with their professionalism, correspondence, organization and can do attitude. The whole crew worked efficiently and diligently. They were kind, respectful of us and our home and kept a very tidy work space. The quality of the workmanship and attention to detail was impressive. I would and have recommended them for any future projects.

Matt has a great company with a team of highly skilled craftsmen. We originally contemplated a bathroom renovation project and expanded the scope to include new staircase, hardwood flooring, crown moulding, recessed led lighting throughout and painting top to bottom. Matt’s experience was extremely helpful in that he was able to guide us in making the right choices upfront to help modernize the look of our home. His detailed approach and project management thru his team ensured we got the results we were looking for and the highest quality or workmanship and finish. We are extremely happy with the results and feel like we are in a brand new home but better. Definitely a company to talk to about renovations.

Additionally, Matt and his team adhered to all COVID protocols at all times which was very reassuring given the scope of the project with most of the work over eight weeks occurring during the third wave while we continued to live and work from our home.

I recently hired Rose Building Group to removed and replace an exterior door in my home.
Matt suggested different options that would allow them to to do the job properly, make my home more secure and stay within my budget. Matt explained in detail, what the job would entail. The work was performed professionally and in a timely manner. The guys even went the extra mile to repair another door they noticed was out of adjustment. My home was left neat and tidy when all the work was finished. I had no concerns about leaving them in the house while I was away at work.

I have dealt with contractors in the past where it was very clear they only cared about the money. Working with Rose Building Group was a breath of fresh air! Matt and his staff were supportive, friendly, and catering to my requests, while also providing valuable insight that helped enhance my space even further.

Rose Building Group recently renovated my kitchen, and I am so thrilled with the outcome. From beginning to end Matt was nothing but supportive, helpful and truthful. Even when surprises came up during the demolition (as they often do with older homes), Matt was incredibly transparent and provided me with options to deal with the issues that arose. With previous contractors, I have felt bullied into a decision and then charged unfairly for the work. Matt was always very clear about his approach, and was always willing to hear my concerns and opinions. He understood it is my kitchen, and while I may not know all the rules of the trade, I know what I want in the end product.

Rose Building Group delivered on their promises. Having to order countertops often stretches out the build time. Rose Building Group worked around my schedule to minimize the time I was without a kitchen. Although it was only three weeks of actual work, Matt told me up front the actual build is largely dependent on the timeframe for the countertop so it was likely a 6-8 week project. This allowed me to create realistic expectations of when my kitchen would be finished, which allowed me to budget my time and costs accordingly.

I truly feel Matt treated my home renovation as if he were renovating his own. He spent a lot of attention to detail and assured the end product was exactly what I was hoping for. Although Matt wasn’t the lowest quote I received, I believe the end result and the ease of the process made it worth the extra cost. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for.

Had Matthew come in to construct an addition to our wall to mount our TV onto as well as insert a fireplace underneath with the ledge stone finish. Did a great job and we’re very happy with the result.

Very professional and considerate of our home ensuring everything got swept up and nothing damaged. Friendly crew and had no issues at all.

I was very apprehensive taking on such a big project to renovate my main washroom. Matthew sensed this and did everything he could to make me feel more comfortable with the process by explaining detail by detail, opened to all my questions and suggestions. I appreciated this.
He also provided me with a day to day project plan which helped me along the journey and everything was delivered as promised. Having access to his resources helped me not only by having expertise in plumbing and tiling for which there is so much to choose from. I found these individuals amazing to work with, once again same style of listening and putting together the right options, making suggestions, that worked out beautifully and with discounts!!!
Our journey is now completed and the bathroom is even better than could have imagined and professionally finished that truly supports value for work and costs.

Complete Basement Renovation with Bathroom and Laundry Room
I have had many renovations of over the years including a major addition 7 years ago. I can honestly say without any hesitation, that Rose Building Group beats them all. Matt is very easy to deal with, all terms are clear, workers arrived on time, completed job early work was very good.
